Mountain biking in the Redwoods in Rotorua

We rented a couple of mountain bikes as early as yesterday evening from a friend of our host and today we took them for a long spin...
In total we have biked around 50 km on hills going up and down.
We had a bit of an adventure trying to mountain bike in the walking trails (?!) but then we actually got to a proper mountain bike trail :-) although we were so tired we just did an easy one. And after that of to the Blue lake and then back to town!
